Terms of Service

Last updated: May 29, 2026

Welcome to Makeble (“we”, “us”, “the Service”). Makeble is an AI-assisted app builder that lets you describe a website or app in plain English or Hebrew and have it generated, edited, and deployed to a live URL. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are the agreement between you and Makeble when you use the Service. By signing in, using a guest editor, or interacting with any part of Makeble, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

We’re a small operation. We’ll keep these Terms short and in plain language wherever we can.

1. The Service

Makeble provides:

  • AI-assisted code generation through a chat interface (powered by Anthropic’s Claude models);
  • A live preview of the generated project deployed to a temporary URL via Vercel;
  • Storage of your projects, chat history, and account settings in our database;
  • A publishing flow that exposes a public URL for projects you choose to publish;
  • Code export so you can take your project elsewhere at any time.

We may add, change, or remove features at our discretion. We’ll do our best to communicate meaningful changes in advance, but we can’t promise zero disruption while we iterate on the product.

2. Accounts and Eligibility

You sign in to Makeble with a Google account. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, whichever is higher) and that the information associated with your Google account is accurate.

You’re responsible for everything that happens under your account. Keep your Google credentials secure. If you suspect unauthorized access, sign out of all sessions and contact us.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Makeble to:

  • Generate, host, or publish content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or that infringes someone else’s rights;
  • Create phishing pages, fake login screens impersonating real services, or anything designed to defraud users;
  • Distribute malware, exploit kits, or code intended to attack other systems;
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract our prompts, system instructions, or model behavior beyond ordinary product use;
  • Resell access to the Service, or use it as a backend for a competing AI builder product;
  • Abuse our infrastructure with bots, automated mass-generation, or excessive API calls outside of normal interactive use.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. For clear policy violations we’ll usually do so without notice; we don’t owe a refund of unused subscription time in that case.

4. AI-Generated Content

Makeble generates code through large language models. Two things you should understand about this:

  • Output is not guaranteed correct. The AI can produce code that doesn’t work, that has security vulnerabilities, that conflicts with third-party licenses, or that infringes copyrights. You are responsible for reviewing what the AI produces before relying on it, publishing it, or shipping it to customers.
  • Output is not unique. Two users describing similar things may receive substantially similar code. We make no claim that AI-generated content is exclusive to you, and we may serve similar patterns to other users.

Within the limits of applicable law, the code Makeble generates from your prompts is yours to use, modify, distribute, sell, and relicense. You don’t owe us a license back to your output.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of everything you upload, type, or generate through Makeble. By using the Service you grant us a limited license to store, transmit, and display that content solely as needed to operate the Service for you — for example, to render your project in the preview iframe, deploy it to Vercel, or display your chat history back to you on a return visit.

If you publish a project (by clicking Publish), you grant us an additional non-exclusive license to display that project at the publication URL for as long as you keep it published. You can unpublish at any time, after which we’ll remove the public copy within a reasonable window.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

Makeble offers a free tier with monthly token limits and a paid “Maker” tier billed monthly through Stripe. Current pricing is shown on the Pricing page. By upgrading you agree that:

  • Payments renew automatically each billing cycle until you cancel;
  • You can cancel any time and you’ll keep paid features until the end of the cycle you already paid for;
  • We don’t generally issue refunds for partial billing periods, but we’ll consider exceptional cases on request (sustained outages, accidental upgrades by someone other than the account holder);
  • Stripe processes payments. We don’t store full card details on our servers — only the references Stripe gives us.

7. Third-Party Services

Makeble depends on third-party services. By using Makeble you also agree to be bound by the terms of:

  • Google for sign-in;
  • Anthropic for AI model inference;
  • Vercel for preview deployments and hosting;
  • Neon for our database;
  • Stripe for billing.

We’re not responsible for outages, policy changes, or content decisions made by these providers, but we’ll do our best to route around them where we can.

8. Service Availability

We aim for high uptime but we don’t guarantee it. Makeble is provided on an “as-is” basis. We may take parts of the Service offline for maintenance, may rate-limit individual accounts to protect the platform, and may discontinue features after reasonable notice.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the user menu. When you do, we delete your projects, chat history, and account record from our primary database within 30 days. Backups may retain copies for an additional period before they cycle out (we keep daily backups for roughly 30 days).

We may suspend or terminate your account for policy violations, non-payment of subscription fees after a grace period, or because we’re winding down the Service. We’ll give you reasonable notice unless waiting would cause harm to other users or to us.

10. Disclaimer and Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Makeble is provided without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee the Service is error-free, secure, or fit for any particular purpose. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or $100 (whichever is greater).

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes that can’t be resolved informally will be brought in the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Substantial changes (anything that materially affects what you can do with the Service or how we treat your data) will be communicated by email or an in-product notice. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the new Terms.
